I have recently fallen in love with this blog.

In other news, I had completely forgotten that I always used an lj client when posting way back in the day. I haven't used, and as a result have completely forgotten, HTML since the mid 1990s.

I've been writing a bit more often as of late but nothing of any importance so I suppose it cancels itself out. I'm stuck feeling lonely and increasingly bitter, yet I continue to enforce my only-at-arm's-length policy. I almost never answer the phone anymore, even if (sometimes especially if) it's a family member. I am constantly playing tug of war with myself about pretty much everything. I try to speak about myself in clinical monotones to hide how pathetic I feel. I haven't left my house since March 3rd. On a more positive note, I've found a few forums recently that focus on intelligent discussion about any number of things, so I spend a lot of time there as a replacement for the classes I can no longer take but was bored with anyway.

cabbage, i feel your html pain. that is, i can remember basic commands, but when it comes to trying to put together an actual page, i have to go and cannibalise things i've done before. and don't even get me started on CSS.

I had to use the client to put the link on that first "this." But really, for as much as I actually communicate with the world, this is about the extent of it anyway.

I'm violetveil on last.fm. Sometimes it frustrates me, some of my songs don't register as being played on last.fm. I remember reading something about it somewhere but that would require me to go investigate and...meh to that idea.

Also, I'm annoyed that lj didn't email me that you replied. That however, I will investigate because tree posts are love.

about the songs not registering - they have to have both a title and an artist listed in their info. i know where it goes in iTunes, but if you use some other program then i have no idea :(

are you ever on IM anymore? i look for you but never see you. i have to go to uni for a meeting today. i'm stupidly scared.

i actually didn't install it again after the big reinstall of feb. '08. if you would tell me which one you're on i'll go grab it real quick.

err, i have gmail chat, jabber, AIM and um MSN i think. i use adium which is a program for macs that lets you connect to multiple chat protocols. so whichever you prefer :) there's no rush, i have to leave in about ten minutes to catch the bus.
