Steampunk Shakespeare? Yes, please.

I saw these posted to a steampunk community and thought they were fantastic. (1, 2) This isn't the first time I've been envious of those liviing in NYC. I've always wanted to learn to sew and make costumes but wow, these outfits make me want to learn RIGHT NOW.

Oh my lord. I would LOVE to see that! Twelfth Night is actually my favourite of all Shakespeare's comedies, and maybe overall. I love Viola, and Orsino is such a maudlin fool, and I love when they play up his confusion at his apparent attraction to a young man.

Those costumes are fantastically drool-worthy.
